DOSAGE FOR EACH SPECIES, ROUTE AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
The product is administered subcutaneously or intramuscularly, after previously shaking the suspension, using well-dried syringes, because in contact with water, the oily suspension can clog the needles.
The dose of 10-15 mg active substance/kg body weight/day is administered, subcutaneously or intramuscularly. Depending on the size of the animals, the recommended doses are as follows:
1 ml of product/10 kg body weight, for 3-5 days in cattle, sheep, goats, horses and pigs (adult animals).
1.5 ml of product/10 kg body weight, for 3-5 days in calves, lambs, kids, foals and piglets.
The product is administered at intervals of 24-48 hours, and the doses can be increased 2-3 times in the case of severe meningeal, mammary or postoperative infections.
RECOMMENDATIONS ON CORRECT ADMINISTRATION
If the volume of suspension to be administered is greater than 20 ml, the product should be injected at separate points.
To ensure proper dosing, the body weight of the animals must be calculated accurately to avoid underdosing the product.

Special precautions for use
Special precautions for use in animals
Due to the variability (temporal, geographical) in bacterial susceptibility when using the product, it is recommended to collect bacteriological samples and perform susceptibility testing on microorganisms isolated from diseased animals.
If this is not possible, treatment should be based on local epidemiological information (region, farm) regarding the susceptibility of the target bacteria.
Use of the product deviating from the instructions in the SPC may increase the prevalence of resistance to the active substances and may decrease the effectiveness of the treatment due to the potential for cross-resistance.
Official and local policies on antimicrobial products should be taken into account when using the product.
Special precautions to be taken by the person administering the veterinary medicinal product to animals
Penicillins may cause hypersensitivity (allergy) following injection, inhalation, ingestion or skin contact. Hypersensitivity to penicillins may lead to cross-hypersensitivity to cephalosporins and vice versa. Occasionally, allergic reactions to these substances may be severe.
In case of accidental self-injection, seek medical advice immediately and show the package leaflet to the physician, even if only a small amount of the product has been injected.
People with known hypersensitivity to amoxicillin should handle the product with caution.
