Indications:
This medicine belongs to the group of vitamin preparations. Biotin, which is included in its composition, is a water-soluble vitamin from the B vitamin group.
Belbital is used in the treatment of biotin deficiency, with symptoms such as hair loss, growth disorders and excessive fragility of nails and hair, inflammation of the skin localized around the eyes, nose, mouth, after the doctor has ruled out other causes.
If there has been no improvement after 4 weeks or if you feel worse, consult your doctor.
Contraindications:
Do not take Belbital:
– if you are allergic to biotin or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:

The amount of biotin contained in Belbital far exceeds the recommended daily dose for pregnant women, so the medicine should not be used in pregnant women.
Breast-feeding:

Fertility:
Animal studies are insufficient with regard to reproductive toxicity.
Driving and using machines:
Belbital has no influence on the ability to drive or use machines.
Belbital contains isomalt
This medicine contains 288.50 mg isomalt in each tablet. If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this medicine.
How to take:
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Adults:
The recommended dose of biotin is 5 mg to 10 mg per day.
The recommended dose of Belbital is 1 tablet per day.
The duration of treatment depends on the nature and progression of the disease. Remission of symptoms is observed after approximately 4 weeks of use.
If there is no improvement after 4 weeks, the patient should contact the doctor to rule out other causes.
Children and adolescents:
The use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age is not recommended due to insufficient data.
Elderly:
Same doses as for adults.
People with liver or kidney failure:
There are no special dosage recommendations.
