What Diclofenac Therapy is and what it is used for
Diclofenac Therapy contains the active substance diclofenac, which is part of the group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It is specially created to be absorbed into the skin by massage. Diclofenac Therapy is used to relieve pain and reduce inflammation and edema in painful conditions that affect the joints and muscles. It can be used to treat the following conditions:
Adults and adolescents aged 14 years and over: trauma to joints and muscles (e.g. sprains, sprains, bruises, back pain, sports injuries); tendonitis (e.g. lateral epicondylitis)
Adults only (18 years of age and older): mild arthritis of the knees or fingers
How to Use Diclofenac Therapy

For adults and adolescents over 14 years of age: Diclofenac Therapy is intended for administration to the skin. Apply Diclofenac Therapy 3 or 4 times a day to the painful surface.
If the pain or inflammation persists for 7 days or gets worse, talk to your doctor.
How much should you use Diclofenac Therapy
Do not use Diclofenac Therapy more than:
Adults and adolescents 14 years of age and older: 2 weeks for wrist and muscle trauma (e.g., sprains, strains, bruises) or tendonitis
Adults only (18 years and older): 3 weeks for arthritis–related pain.
A longer treatment may be recommended by a doctor.
Use in children and adolescents: There are insufficient data on the safety and efficacy of administration in children and adolescents below 14 years of age. In adolescents aged 14 years and over 14 years, if this medication is needed for the treatment of pain for a period longer than 7 days or if symptoms worsen, the patient/parents of the adolescent are advised to consult the doctor.
If you use more Diclofenac Therapy than you should: if you take Diclofenac Therapy, overdose is unlikely. However, in this case, the surface on which the gel has been applied must be washed with a large amount of water. In case of accidental ingestion of a quantity of gel, the amount of diclofenac may be sufficient to appear the manifestations of an overdose (e.g. 100 g of gel contains the equivalent of 5000 mg of diclofenac sodium); Contact your doctor or the emergency department of the nearest hospital immediately.
If you forget to use Diclofenac Therapy: you can apply it when you remember and then continue as usual. Do not apply a double amount to replace the forgotten one.
If you stop using Diclofenac Therapy: it is used only as needed. You can stop treatment as soon as you feel well.
If you have any further questions about this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
