Nasic for children is a nasal spray used to decongest the nose in case of rhinitis and to heal the skin and mucous membrane lesions.
Nasic for children contains xylometazoline hydrochloride which has vasoconstrictor activity, thus decongesting the nasal mucous membranes. It also contains dexpanthenol which is a derivative of pantothenic acid, a vitamin that allows wound healing and protects mucosal membranes.
Method of administration:
– Children between the ages of 2 and 6 years is one puff in each nostril no more than three times a day, as needed. The dose is established according to the patient’s sensitivity and clinical effect.
The installment should not be followed for more than 7 consecutive days, unless recommended by the doctor. A break of a few days should be taken between administrations. Always consult a doctor regarding the duration of treatment in children.
– Children under 2 years of age: Nasic is contraindicated for use by children under 2 years of age
