Otirelax ear drops, solution, 45.5 mg/ml + 11.4 mg/ml, 15 ml, Rompharm

Indications:
Otirelax drops are used as an adjunct in the treatment of earaches caused by otitis media, in patients with an intact eardrum.
Contains phenazone and lidocaine monohydrate. Phenazone is a substance used to reduce inflammation and pain. Lidocaine monohydrate is a substance used for local anesthesia.
Otirelax helps to relieve pain and inflammation in the ear, in patients whose eardrum is not ruptured.

Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to phenazone, pyrazole derivatives (metamizole, isopropylaminophenazone, propylphenazone), lidocaine hydrochloride or any of the excipients.

Precautions:
Before using Otirelax, consult your doctor, pharmacist or nurse.

Pregnancy and lactation:
In the absence of a ruptured eardrum, systemic absorption is unlikely. Therefore, if the suspicion of tympanic perforation has been eliminated, this medicine can be used in pregnant or breastfeeding women.

Driving and using machines:
Otirelax has no influence on the ability to drive and use machines.

Method of administration:
The recommended dose is 4 drops of Otirelax 2-3 times a day; they are applied to the external auditory canal.

The duration of treatment should not exceed 10 days.

If the symptoms do not improve after 2-3 days of treatment, the therapeutic approach should be reassessed.

To avoid the unpleasant sensation caused by the introduction of the cold solution into the ear canal, it is recommended to bring the bottle to body temperature before administering the drops.

If Otirelax is used together with other ear drops, an interval of at least 30 minutes should be maintained between administrations.
