Anti-colic drops with lactase enzyme, 7 ml, Colief

Colief is a product that helps compensate for lactase deficiency in the baby’s digestive system and as a result, reduces the appearance of colic and relieves it. Added to your baby’s regular milk, colief will greatly reduce lactose levels by converting it into glucose and galactose before it is fed colief is an enzyme (lactase) and is destroyed by heat. As a result, once opened, it should be kept in the refrigerator at a medium temperature, without freezing, and when administered, the baby’s milk should be warm, not cold or hot.

Ingredients per 7ml: Glycerol 4.2g, water 3.7g and lactase enzyme 0.1g.

Method of administration:

It can be used from birth. Up to 3 – 4 months it is used at each infant‘s meal, at which point the symptoms associated with colic should disappear. Then you should be able to gradually remove the Colief drops, moving from their initial administration at each meal, to alternative meals, and finally, only once a day until they are completely withdrawn. If it happens that at some point the signs of discomfort reappear, the previous dosage is returned.

Breastfeeding: Put a few tablespoons of breast milk in a container; add 4 drops of Colief. Administer the contents of the baby in a sterilized spoon; Continue breastfeeding as normal.

Colief in milk formula: prepare the milk formula according to the manufacturer‘s instructions. Add 4 drops of Colief to the warm, not hot, milk. Shake the milk from time to time and after half an hour feed the baby; discard the remaining food. If the formula needs to be prepared in advance:Prepare the milk formula carefully, according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Add 2 drops of Colief to the warm milk and keep it for 4 hours in the refrigerator. Heat to the correct drinking temperature; discard the remaining food.

If using ready-made milk formula: Heat the food until it reaches a medium temperature, add 4 drops of Colief, wait 30 minutes, shaking the container occasionally, feed the baby, discard the rest of the unused food.

Precautions:

Once opened, keep the bottle in the refrigerator and use it for up to 3 weeks.

This medicine can be taken in combination with Infacol.
