Cestal Plus Dog Flavour, 8 tablets – internal antiparasitic for dogs

Cestal Plus Dog Flavour, 8 tablets – internal antiparasitic for dogs is a broad-spectrum internal antiparasitic for the treatment and control of all common cestodes (tapeworms) and nematode infections in dogs and puppies.

INDICATIONS

Cestal Plus is recommended for the treatment and control of all common tapeworms and roundworm infestations in dogs and puppies, including:

Ascaris: Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina (adults and immature forms)

Nematodes: Ancylostoma caninum, Uncinaria stenocephala, Trichuris vulpis

Cestodes (Tapes): Echinococcus spp, Dipylidium caninum

ADMINISTRATION

The drug will be administered in a single dose orally

The tablets are administered directly or incorporated into the animal’s food.

No diet is required.

For general deworming, one treatment is sufficient, but in the case of a massive infestation, it is recommended to repeat the dose after 14 days.

Due to the risk of reinfestation, the treatment must be repeated every 3 months.

Do not use in cats

The product is administered orally in the following doses:
1 tablet per 10 kg of body weight, which corresponds to the following amounts of active substances:
* praziquantel 5 mg/kg
* pyrantel embonate 14.4 mg/kg
* fenbendazole 20 mg/kg

Puppies and small dogs:
< 2 kg g.c. = 1/4 tablet
2-5 kg g.c. = 1/2 tablet
5-10 kg g.c. = 1 tablet

Medium-sized dogs:
10-20 kg g.c. = 2 tablets
20-30 kg g.c. = 3 tablets

Large dogs:
30-40 kg g.c. = 4 tablets
40-50 kg g.c. = 5 tablets
