Description:
Complementary dietary supplement that offers a multifaceted approach to help in the management of lower urinary tract disorders in cats, especially feline idiopathic cystitis.

Ingredients:
N-acetyl D-glucosamine 125 mg
L-Tryptophan 37.5 mg
Curcumin Complex (Curcuma longa/lecithin) 18 mg
Folic acid 0.09 mg
Vitamin D 14 IU

Key benefits:
It helps restore the urothelium, helps cats cope with the stress associated with cystitis, decreases inflammation of the bladder wall and protects the bladder wall.
N–Acetyl D Glucosamine (NAG): Supports the production of GAG chains that protect the urothelium.
L–tryptophan: An amino acid that is converted into serotonin. It can help in anxiety management and has been shown to help cats in the fight against stress.
Curcumin: Curcumin is the active part of turmeric and has been shown to be beneficial in the management of many conditions, especially those involving inflammation. It has been shown to help reduce the production of pro–inflammatory mediators and inhibit the degranulation of mast cells, reducing the release of histamine.
Folic acid: May reduce the release of histamine from mast cells. It provides support against inflammation associated with feline idiopathic cystitis.
Vitamin D: Fat–soluble vitamin with multiple roles in the body.

Intended for:
Cats.

Method of administration:
Oral.
The capsules can be opened and mixed with food or taken whole.

Form of presentation:
Box of 30 capsules.

Dosage:
Starting dose 2 capsules/day (1 morning, 1 evening) for 3-4 weeks.
Maintenance dose 1 capsule/day* on a long-term basis.
