Description:
· Easotic, 10 ml is a product used in the treatment of acute otitis externa and acute exacerbations of recurrent otitis externa in dogs, associated with gentamicin-susceptible bacteria and fungi susceptible to miconazole, in particular Malassezia pachydermatis.
Ingredients:
· Hydrocortisone aceponate 1.11 mg/ml
· Miconazole nitrate 15.1 mg/ml
· Gentamicin in the form of sulphate 1505 IU/ml

Method of administration:
· External administration in the ear canal.
Form of presentation:
· 10ml bottle.
Dosage:
· Shake the bottle well before first use.
· The recommended dose is 1 ml for an infected ear once a day for 5 consecutive days.
· Insert the atraumatic cannula into the ear canal and administer one dose (1ml) of the product into each infected ear.
· 1ml corresponds to a single press of the pump.
· After application, the base of the ear should be massaged briefly and carefully to allow the preparation to reach the lower part of the ear canal.
Possible side effects:
· Mild to moderate redness of the ear was usually noted (in 2.4% of treated dogs).
· Papules have been observed very rarely (in less than 1% of treated dogs).
· In all cases, treatment with the veterinary medicinal product was not interrupted and all patients recovered without any specific therapy.
Administration of the ear preparation may be associated with hearing loss, usually temporarily, and in elderly patients. Systemic absorption of hydrocortisone aceponate, gentamicin sulphate and miconazole nitrate is negligible and teratogenic, foetotoxic or maternotoxic effects are unlikely to occur in dogs at recommended doses.

· In case of accidental contact with the skin, it is recommended to rinse thoroughly with water. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of accidental contact, rinse with plenty of water.

How to store:
· Store in a place away from moisture and direct exposure to the sun, at temperatures up to 25°C.
