Hemorsan soothes inflamed hemorrhoidal veins, restores the affected areas in cases of hemorrhoids and anal fissures and facilitates the elimination of stool.
Ingredients:
Solid glycerides, propolis tincture, calendula flower extract (Calendulae flos), beeswax, Hamamelis virginiana leaf extract 5%, poplar bud extract (Populi gemmae), chestnut seed extract (Hippocastani semen) 2.5%, Peru balm, yarrow essential oil (Millefolii aetheroleum), clove essential oil (Caryophyllorum aetheroleum).
Propolis is considered the most powerful natural anti–infective, being a broad–spectrum antibiotic, antiviral, immunostimulating, anti–inflammatory (twice as effective as acetylsalicylic acid), healing and local anesthetic.
Marigold flowers are one of the most effective remedies for any kind of lesions that affect the integrity of the skin or mucous membranes. They contain anti–inflammatory, emollient, healing principles, useful in case of anal fissures and hemorrhoids.
Hamamelis virginiana contains tannins and volatile oil with venotonic, vasoconstrictor, anti–inflammatory, antibacterial effect, thus reducing discomfort, itching and irritation caused by hemorrhoids.
Poplar buds, also called vegetable propolis, are an important source of propolis. Through specialized chemical analyzes, it has been shown that there are 5 substances present at the same time in propolis as in poplar buds, 3 of which have antibiotic and antifungal properties. Poplar buds also contain saligenol derivatives that give it strong anti–inflammatory properties, analgesics useful for reducing inflammation and pain caused by hemorrhoids.
Chestnut seeds, due to the escine in their composition, have anti–inflammatory, antiedematous, hemostatic, healing, venotonic actions, thus contributing to the reduction of hemorrhoidal vessel dilations and to stop any local bleeding.
Peru balm has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antispasmodic, healing actions, relaxes the anal muscles, being used in antihemorrhoidal suppositories.
The azulenes in yarrow essential oil have soothing, anti-inflammatory, healing properties.
Clove essential oil has broad-spectrum antibacterial properties (on gram+ and gram- bacteria), antiviral, antifungal, anthelmintic, anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, anti-neuralgic, local anesthetic and anticoagulant.
Actions and recommendations:
Used as a natural adjuvant with healing, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, venotonic, vasoconstrictor, mildly anesthetic, for grade I and II hemorrhoids, inflammation and perianal lesions and in case of anal fissures.
Method of administration:
One suppository per day, intrarectally for 18 days, or as recommended by your doctor. The treatment can be repeated as needed. It is recommended to apply the suppository after removing the stool and carrying out the local toilet.
Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any of the components.
Side effects:
The product is well tolerated. In isolated cases, there may be a slight burning sensation, pain, increased intestinal motility after the administration of suppositories.
