Product description
Active substance: 15 g/L alpha-cypermethrin (1.58% alpha-cypermethrin)
Formulation: concentrated suspension
Fendona Top is a synthetic pyrethroid insecticide, with contact and ingestion action, intended to combat insect pests in indoor spaces, including cockroaches, ants, mosquitoes and wasps. It contains the active substance alpha-cypermethrin, in a concentration of 15 g/l, and is used especially for hygiene in rural areas, in spaces such as animal coops or shelters.
Mode of action:
Fendona Top acts against flying and crawling insects through contact and ingestion. The active substance, alpha-cypermethrin, attaches itself to the body of pests in the form of particles that are then absorbed, causing the insects to die quickly.
For red cockroaches, the maximum mortality is obtained within a week of contact with the treated surfaces.
In the case of mosquitoes (Culex spp.), the lethal effect is observed within 48 hours of exposure.
In wasps, the shock effect occurs in about 6 hours after contact with the treated non–porous surfaces, and the death of insects occurs within 24 hours.
How to use:
Preparation of the spray solution:
The area to be treated is estimated.
The product is applied using any conventional manual equipment or automatic spraying equipment to produce a coarse spray at low pressure.
The required volume of product is measured using the Bettix container or a standard dosing device.
Add the product to the required amount of clean water, then shake.
When empty, rinse the package 3 times and rinse water using it to prepare the spray solution.
If there is a delay between the application of treatments, a new stirring of the solution is necessary before a new use.
Application:
The product will be applied to the entire infested surface by coarse spraying to treat that surface.
Special attention should be paid to cracks, fissures and any place where insects can hide and on surfaces on which they can crawl or settle.
For cockroaches, an application dose of 15 mg s.a./m2 is established for shelters with increased hygiene, under other conditions, a dose of 30 mg s.a./m2 should be used.
Use the low dose when there is a low level of infestation and high hygienic conditions, and the high dose when there is a high level of infestation and/or low hygiene conditions.
Frequency: up to 4 applications per year.
After application, wait for the applied solution to dry before humans or animals re–enter the treated areas.
After application, insects that have come into contact with the product should show signs of shock within 30 – 60 minutes and a visible impact on the number of the population within a few days.
The treated surfaces should be checked after 2-3 weeks.
Where the initial infestation was severe or a new infestation is observed, a second treatment may be needed in
Example – for the treatment of an area of 20 m2, it is recommended:
at a low dose: dilute 20 ml of the product by adding water to prepare 1L of spray solution,
at high dose: dilute 40 ml of the product by adding water to prepare 1L of spray solution.
Use the low dose when there is a low level of infestation and high hygienic conditions, and the high dose when there is a high level of infestation and/or low hygiene conditions.
