Treatment of mastitis in cows: 1/4–1/2 of the contents of the ointment tube is introduced through the milk duct through the milk duct into the affected compartments, which have been previously milked and cleaned with a disinfectant solution. Massage the udder and do not milk it for 12–18 hours, after which repeat the treatment, using a new almond in the tube with ointment. If the improvement is not obvious, the amount administered in the following days doubles until the symptoms disappear. Treatment is continued for another two days after the symptoms have subsided.
Recommendations for correct administration:
In order to successfully treat mastitis in cows, the following must be done: isolate sick animals from healthy ones and take hygiene measures
Disinfect the udder of the sick animal and the hands of the milker before milking
Keep the tube in warm water, 35º–40ºC, before use, for easier introduction of the medicine
The almond that accompanies the ointment tube is sterilized by boiling
The affected quarters must be milked after milking the healthy quarters, and the milk will be collected separately and will not be used in human nutrition or animal feed.
Adapt the polyethylene halo to the medicine tube.
By easy handling, in order to avoid injuring the mucosa, insert the lark through the nipple hole and press the tube until 1/6 of its contents are deposited as much as possible towards the base.
Remove the hazelnut and place it in a bowl with disinfectant and then destroy it.
Gently massage the udder after inserting the drug
