PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION

Avianprotect ten is a medicinal formula developed to be used in the control of transmissible diseases in birds, based on the combination of 3 antibiotics, having a broad antibacterial spectrum, but also a cidal effect on mycoplasmas and some spirochetes.
Due to the association of the three antibiotics, the drug is very effective in infections caused by Gram-negative germs (Salmonella sp., E. coli, Klebsiella sp., Pseudomonas sp., etc.) and Gram-positive (Streptococcus sp. and Staphylococcus sp., etc.) resistant to other antibiotics.
Tylosin tartrate is an antibiotic from the macrolide group. It has a remarkable germicidal action on mycoplasmas but also on Gram-positive germs, some Gram-negative germs and spirochetes.
Erythromycin thiocyanate is an antibiotic with bacteriostatic action. Due to its liposoluble nature, it crosses the cell walls with lipid structure, inactivating mycoplasmas. It also acts on Gram-positive germs and Gram-negative germs as well as against spirochetes and rickettsiae.
Neomycin acts preferentially in the intestine, especially on Gram-negative germs. The association with the polyvitamin complex increases the body’s resistance to various bacterial or mycoplasma infections and contributes to a better feed conversion.
