The product acts on the nervous system of nematodes and arthropods, causing their paralysis and death by stimulating the production of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) at the synapse level, which interrupts the transmission of nerve impulses in peripheral neurons in nematodes and neuromuscular synapses in arthropods.’
Due to this mechanism, the product has no effect on cestodes and trematodes, since they do not secrete GABA as a chemical mediator at the synapse level.
The toxicity of the product is relatively low.
