TARGET SPECIES:
Honey bees
ADMINISTRATION METHOD:
At the apiary level, remove the 10 Mavrirol strips, each 25 cm long, from the plastic box, detach them from the thread stitch and insert them into the hives. For production bee colonies, apply 2 strips above the nest frames transversely, and for swarms, only one strip.
The route of administration is external, the Mavrirol strips are applied above the nest frames, transversely on them, so as to ensure contact with the bees.
The main treatment with Mavrirol is done in the fall. The strips are kept in the hives until the end of fall (approx. 45 days) when the brood ball begins to form.
Considering that Mavrirol is a product that acts by contact, a second treatment with it can also be done in the spring, in the second half of March. In this case, care will be taken to remove the strips from the hives about 10 days before the start of the production harvest.
