PHARMACEUTICAL FORM
Oral powder.
It is presented in the form of an amorphous, yellow powder.

Oxytetracycline FP 90% – oral powder is recommended for the treatment of diseases caused by oxytetracycline-sensitive germs in pigs, foals, calves, lambs, kids, rabbits, dogs, poultry (broiler chickens, hens, turkeys, ducks, geese) and fish, as follows: Pigs: in the treatment of secondary infections associated with swine enzootic pneumonia, bacterial enteritis, arthritis and rubella. Foals, lambs, kids: in the treatment of bacterial enteritis, respiratory infections, omphalitis, arthritis. Calves: in the treatment of secondary infections associated with viral pneumonia, bacterial enteritis, arthritis, calf diphtheria, omphalitis. Rabbits: in the treatment of bacterial enteritis. Dogs: in the treatment of secondary infections associated with hepatitis.

Amounts to be administered and route of administration

The product is administered in drinking water, in herbal infusion or milk replacers.
Swine: 15-35 g product/100 l of drinking water (10 – 30 mg s.a./kg g.c.), once a day,
for 5 consecutive days.
Calves, lambs, kids, foals: 1 – 1.5 g product/50 kg g.c. (20 – 30 mg s.a./kg g.c.). It is
administered daily in drinking water or in herbal infusion or milk replacers, for 5 consecutive days.
Dogs, rabbits: 0.55 g product/10 kg g.c. (50 mg s.a./kg g.c.), divided into 2
times/day, for 5 consecutive days.
Poultry (broiler chickens, hens, turkeys, ducks, geese): 15 – 35 g product /100 | drinking water
(10 – 30 mg s.a. / kg g.c.) once a day, for 5 consecutive days.
Fish: 4.5 – 6.5 g product is administered daily for 100 kg of fish.
For adult fish it is administered in a single dose and for fry it is
administered in 2 doses/day. The product is administered in the tank.

Withdrawal period
Meat and offal: foals, calves, lambs, kids, pigs, rabbits, poultry (broiler chickens, hens,
turkeys, ducks, geese): 7 days
Eggs: 3 days
Fish meat:

Carp – ≤ 10°C: 90 days
at 10°C – 20°C: 70 days
above 20°C: 60 days

Trout – ≤ 6°C: 90 days
at 6°C – 12°C: 70 days
above 12°C: 60 days.
