PREMIX FOR POULTRY AND SWINE HELMIX F 100G

HELMIX F, 50 mg/g – premix for pigs and poultry (broilers, chickens, geese, turkeys).

STATEMENT OF ACTIVE SUBSTANCES AND OTHER INGREDIENTS:
1 g premix contains:
Active substance:
Flubendazole …… 50 mg.

INDICATIONS:
It is recommended in the treatment of helminthiasis caused by the following parasites:
– in pigs: Ascaris suum, Hyostrongylus rubidus, Oesophagostomum spp., Trichocephalus spp., Trichinella spiralis, Metastrongylus spp., Strongyloides ransomi.
– in birds (broilers, chickens, geese, turkeys): Ascaridia galli, Heterakis gallinae, Capillaria spp., Amidostomum anseris, Trichostrongylus spp., Syngamus trachea, Railletina spp.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Do not administer to pigeons and parrots.
Do not administer to animals and birds showing hypersensitivity to flubendazole or to any of the excipients of the product.

ADVERSE REACTIONS:
Flubendazole is generally well tolerated. Abdominal pain, vomiting and transient diarrhea have rarely been reported.

TARGET SPECIES:
Pigs, birds (broilers, chickens, geese, turkeys).

DOSAGE FOR EACH SPECIES, ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION:
The premix is ​​administered orally, incorporated into the feed.
Pigs:
– Mass treatment: 600 g HELMIX F / ton of feed/day (30 g s.a./ ton of feed/day) for 5-10 days, depending on the type and level of infestation.
– Individual treatment: HELMIX F is incorporated into the feed in such a way as to ensure a dose of 5 mg s.a./kg body weight or 2 g HELMIX F/20 kg body weight.
In the treatment of trichinosis, the dose is 1.2 kg HELMIX F/ton of feed, for 7 days in the case of mass treatment or 4 g HELMIX F/20 kg body weight (10 mg s.a./20 kg body weight), for 5 days, in the case of individual treatment.
Frequency of treatment: 2 times a year or as recommended by the veterinarian.
Poultry:
– broilers, chickens, geese: 600 g HELMIX F / ton of feed/day (30 g a.s./ ton of feed/day), for 7 consecutive days. In case of reinfestation with Railletina spp., 1.2 kg HELMIX F / ton of feed (60 g a.s./ ton of feed) is incorporated.
– turkeys: 400 g HELMIX F / ton of feed/day (20 g a.s./ ton of feed), for 7 consecutive days.
Frequency of treatment: 2 times a year or on the recommendation of the veterinarian. In special epidemiological situations, the treatment can be repeated at 3-week intervals. In order to ensure correct administration of the therapeutic dose, the body weight of the animals must be determined as accurately as possible. When treating several animals at once, they must be grouped according to their weight and the dose adapted accordingly, in order to avoid underdosing or overdose.

RECOMMENDATIONS ON CORRECT ADMINISTRATION:
HELMIX F should be well mixed with the feed. First, a premix of the prescribed amount of powder with 5 kg of feed will be made, mix well and then the rest of the feed will be added up to 1 ton and also mix very well. For the treatment to be effective, it is recommended to sanitize the breeding areas at the same time.
