Paranix shampoo has been clinically tested and has proven to be an effective treatment against lice and their eggs. Paranix is the ally of parents and children in the fight against head lice, offering superior solutions based on highly effective products and useful tips to minimize the occurrence of the infestation and the chore associated with solving it. Because it does not contain insecticides, lice do not develop resistance over time to Paranix.
Along with the Paranix spray, the shampoo introduces a new generation of solutions against head lice, with a superior formula, with double action: it suffocates and dehydrates, at the same time, head lice and their eggs.
Ingredients: Mineral oil, foaming agents, perfume.
It does not contain insecticides.
Mode of action: Paranix Shampoo removes 100% head lice and their eggs in only 10 minutes after application. Its dual-action formula not only suffocates but also dehydrates head lice and their eggs so they don’t reappear. In addition, using this shampoo is much more convenient, considering that it washes the hair at the same time. Due to the fact that Paranix shampoo does not contain insecticides, head lice cannot develop resistance to its ingredients.
How to use: In five simple and easy-to-follow steps, head lice and their eggs are 100% eliminated. All you have to do is follow the instructions below.
Step no. 1: Check for head lice. Use a special lice comb or bone comb to check for lice in each family member, preferably in daylight. The treatment is administered to all those in whom the presence of the parasite is proven, on the same day, to avoid re-infestation.
Dry hair is easier to examine.
To start, comb your hair to detangle all of your hair, then check it strand by strand.
Check at the root of the hair, behind the ears and the hair on the back of the neck. These are the areas where lice and their eggs are usually found.
Rinse the comb after each use, in warm soapy water, to avoid re-infestation.
Step no. 2: Apply Paranix shampoo. Distribute a sufficient amount of Paranix shampoo evenly on dry hair. Make sure you have thoroughly shampooed all your hair and scalp. Massage the product from the roots to the tips, paying close attention to the areas at the nape of the neck and behind the ears.
Leave the shampoo on for ten minutes, which is extremely important for the success of the treatment. 100 ml = between 2 and 4 applications, for people with short hair or up to the shoulder.
If your hair is particularly long or thick, you may use the entire container in one application.
Step no. 3: Add water and wash the hair. After ten minutes, add a sufficient amount of water to your hair to form a lather. Wash and rinse your hair thoroughly. Make sure to rinse off all the shampoo from your hair.
Step no. 4: remove lice and eggs. Before drying your hair, use the special anti-lice comb or bone comb again to remove lice and eggs.
1) Comb wet hair with the anti-lice comb.
2) Divide the hair into four strands: from the forehead to the nape of the neck and from one ear to the other. For long hair, you can braid each strand.
3) Separate each strand into thin strands so that the scalp is visible.
4) Comb each resulting strand, as close as possible to the scalp.
5) With the help of the comb, remove all the lice and/or eggs you find.
6) You can set aside each cleaned strand.
7) To avoid re–infestation, clean the comb after each strand with a cotton pad or a little cotton wool. Always comb starting from the root to the tip.
Step no. 5: Repeat treatment after seven days. Repeat the treatment after seven days, following steps 1 to 4. This will ensure that you have covered the entire life cycle of the lice. Any eggs that may have hatched within the period since the first treatment will now be removed.
There is no risk in repeating the treatment several times. Don‘t forget to decontaminate the environment! Wash clothes, bed sheets, towels and other objects (hairbrushes, combs, etc.) that have come into direct contact with the scalp at 60°C. Carefully vacuum the house and car, then discard the vacuum cleaner bag.
Important note: Head lice cannot develop resistance to Paranix shampoo because it has an action that is not based on the use of chemicals. However, treated individuals may re-infest from individuals who have not undergone treatment (e.g. at school). In this case, you can use Paranix again, without any risk. It will be just as effective.
