Recommended dose:
1. Ypozane 1.875 mg
0.25 – 0.5 mg of osaterone acetate / kg body weight, as follows:
For dog weight: 3 – 7.5 kg – 1 tablet
Duration of treatment: 7 days
2. Ypozane 3.75 mg
0.25 – 0.5 mg of osaterone acetate / kg body weight, as follows:
Dog weight: 7.5 – 15 kg;
Daily dose: 1 tablet;
3. Ypozane 7.5 mg
0.25 – 0.5 mg osaterone acetate / kg body weight, as follows:
Weight of the dog: 15 – 30 kg;
Daily dose: 1 tablet;
4. Ypozane 15 mg
0.25 – 0.5 mg osaterone acetate / kg body weight, as follows:
Weight of the dog: 30 – 60 kg;
Daily dose: 1 tablet;
Specifications:
No data are available for dogs weighing less than 3 kg
The tablets can be administered directly into the mouth or in the food. The maximum dose should not be exceeded
In dogs with BPH associated with prostatitis, the product can be administered concurrently with antimicrobials
The clinical response to treatment is generally visible within two weeks
The clinical response persists for at least 5 months after the end of treatment
Re-evaluation by the veterinarian should take place 5 months after the end of treatment or earlier in case of recurrence of clinical signs
The decision to re-treat at that time or at a later time should be based on the veterinarian’s assessment, taking into account the benefits and risks of the product
