Indications for use, specifying the target species
Depending on body weight, dogs are divided into weight groups :
– treatment of flea infestations or mixed infestations with ticks and/or malophagous lice in dogs.
– treatment of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides spp.). Insecticidal efficacy against new infestations with adult fleas persists for 8 weeks. Prevention of flea multiplication by inhibiting the development of eggs (ovicidal action) and larvae and pupae (larvicidal action) originating from eggs laid by adult fleas persists for 8 weeks after application of the product.
– treatment of tick infestations (Ixodes ricinus, Dermacentor variabilis, Dermacentor reticulatus, Rhipicephalus sanguineus). The product has acaricidal efficacy for up to 4 weeks against ticks.
– treatment of infestations with mange lice (Trichodectes canis).
The product can be used as part of a treatment strategy for the control of flea allergy dermatitis (FAD), previously diagnosed by a veterinarian.
