Description:
Baytril is used in dogs for the treatment of bacterial infections caused by Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria (E. coli, Salmonella sp., Pasteurella sp., Haemophilus spp., Staphylococcus spp.) and Mycoplasma spp. sensitive to the action of the active substance.
Ingredients:
Active substance – Enrofloxacin 150 mg.
Intended for:
Dogs.
Method of administration:
Oral administration.
Presentation form:
Box with 20 tablets.
Dosage:
Administration at a dose of 5 mg enrofloxacin/kg body weight, once a day, equivalent to one Baytril 150 mg tablet per 30 kg body weight, daily for 3-10 days.
The tablets can be administered directly to the animals or incorporated into the feed.
Possible adverse effects:
During the growth period, enrofloxacin may cause damage to the articular cartilage in dogs. Rarely, nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea may occur.
If you notice serious reactions and effects not mentioned in the package leaflet, please inform your veterinarian.
Precautions:
Baytril should not be used for prophylaxis.
When using the product, official and local antimicrobial policies should be taken into account.
Storage:
Store in a place protected from moisture and direct sunlight, at temperatures up to 25°C.
In case of overdose:
In case of overdose, gastrointestinal disorders and nervous symptoms have been observed.
In case of overdose, please contact your veterinarian immediately.
