Description:
Antibiotic for dogs and cats from the cephalosporin class.

Key benefits:
Cefa cure is indicated in dogs and cats for the treatment of the following local and systemic infections sensitive to cephalosporins:
– Pyoderma – superficial and deep – caused by staphylococci.
– Soft tissue infections (wounds, abscesses, boils) caused by staphylococci and streptococci.
– Urinary tract infections caused by staphylococci and streptococci., Proteus spp., E. coli and Klebsiella spp.
– Respiratory tract infections caused by staphylococci, streptococci., Pasteurella spp. and Klebsiella spp.

Intended for:
Dogs and cats.

Method of administration:
Oral administration.

Presentation form:
Box of 20 tablets.

Dosage:
20 mg cefadroxil per kg body weight is administered, administered once a day orally.

If teatment depends on the type and severity of the infection and the response to treatment. In most cases, a 10-day treatment is sufficient.
If necessary and depending on the clinical response to treatment, it can be continued until an adequate response is considered to have been obtained.
Animals should be treated 2-3 days after the disappearance of clinical symptoms.
Pyoderma is usually a secondary reaction to a primary condition. It is recommended to diagnose the primary condition and treat the animal accordingly.

Possible adverse effects:
Serious adverse reactions to cefadroxil may occur rarely.

If you notice serious reactions and effects not mentioned in the package leaflet, please inform your veterinarian.

Precautions:
Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to penicillins or cephalosporins.

The safety of the product has not been tested during lactation and pregnancy.

Storage:
Store in a place protected from moisture and direct sunlight, at temperatures up to 25°C.

In case of overdose:
A safety study has shown that when administered orally at a dose of 100 mg/kg/day (5 times the recommended dose) for a period of 90 days, cefadroxil is well tolerated.
In cats, accidental vomiting has been observed when cefadroxil was administered orally at a dose of 20 mg/kg/day for 30 days.
