COMPOSITION:
Each ml contains:
Florfenicol …………. 300 mg
INDICATIONS:
Conditions caused by bacteria sensitive to florfenicol.
Cattle: Treatment of respiratory tract disorders caused by Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida and Histophilus somni.
Swine: Treatment of acute attacks of respiratory diseases caused by strains of Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae and Pasteurella multocida sensitive to florfenicol.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Do not administer to adult bulls or boars intended for breeding.
Do not use in cows producing milk for human consumption.
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
SIDE EFFECTS:
Cattle: During treatment, there may be a reduction in feed intake or slight diarrhea. The treated animals recover immediately and completely after the end of the treatment.
Intramuscular administration of the product may cause inflammatory lesions at the injection site that disappear within 28 days.
Pigs: Commonly observed adverse effects are: diarrhea and/or perianal and rectal erythema/edema, can affect 50% of treated animals. These reactions can be observed for a week.

TARGET SPECIES:
Cattle and pigs.
METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION:
Intramuscular administration. Injections should be given on the sides of the neck.
Cattle: 20 mg florfenicol per kg body weight, which corresponds to 1 ml of solution per 15 kg body weight, two administrations at an interval of 48 hours.
Pigs: 15 mg florfenicol per kg body weight, which corresponds to 1 ml of solution per 20 kg body weight, two administrations at an interval of 48 hours.
SPECIAL WARNINGS:
Special precautions for use in animals Wipe the cap off the vial before each use. Use sterile and dry needles and syringes. Do not administer to piglets weighing less than 2 kg. Under field conditions, approximately 30% of treated piglets exhibit pyrexia (40°C), moderate depression or moderate dyspnea one week or more after the second dose.
The product should be used after antibiograms and taking into account local, official antimicrobial strategies.
