Iodoformate ether 20 ml

Composition:
Iodoform ………………………………….. 5 g
Ethyl ether ad. ………………………… 100 ml

Action:
Iodoform acts as a siccative, anesthetic, antiseptic, healing and deodorant by slowly releasing iodine under the action of tissue secretions.
It is effective in the treatment of skin lesions. It has a high capacity to penetrate modified tissues, forming a protective layer under which budding and sterile wound healing occur.

Target species:
Dogs and cats.

Indications:
The product is used in the treatment of wounds, ulcers, fistulas and cartilaginous scabies.
It is used in the treatment of summer wounds to repel insects due to its smell.

Contraindications and precautions:
The product should be kept away from fire and heat sources. Do not expose the container to the sun. Avoid contact with the animal’s eyes.

Adverse reactions:
None known.

Administration method and doses for each species:
The treatment is done by sprinkling the wounds, paying particular attention to crevices.

Recommendations for correct administration:
Apply to the entire surface of the wound or affected area and 2-3 cm around.

Special warnings:
Avoid contact with the skin of the operator performing the application because the smell is very strong and persistent.
