Pro-Enteric Triplex® (symbiotic+pectin+kaolin) is recommended for the treatment of acute diarrhea. Thanks to its exclusive triple-ingredient composition, previously damaged beneficial gut microflora can recover and stools become more solid. The recovery of the balance of the intestinal microflora restores the defensive barrier in the intestine. The product also facilitates efficient digestion, as the balanced flora is a source of digestive enzymes that help enterocytes better absorb nutrients.

Ingredients:
Each Pro-Enteric Triplex® syringe contains:
Probiotic: Enterococcus faecium (DSM 10663/NCIMB 10415) 4b1707, 2.6 x 108 CFU/ml;
Prebiotic: FOS and Acacia;
Kaolin;
Pectin.

Key benefits:
Enterococcus faecium is a probiotic that promotes the competitive exclusion mechanism, fights against the overgrowth of pathogenic microorganisms that cause diarrhea in pets. Competitive exclusion prevents pathogenic microorganisms from remaining in the intestine and obtaining nutrients, thus allowing normal intestinal flora to be restored.
The prebiotic is the specific substrate for beneficial bacteria such as Enterococcus faecium. By administering the bacteria together with its specific substrate, the beneficial effect of the Probiotic is strengthened, by increasing the viability of the probiotic. The combination of probiotic and prebiotic is known as a symbiotic.
Kaolin has the ability to trap bacteria and toxins, preventing them from acting on the intestinal lining. The stools become more solid because kaolin also retains water.
Pectin thickens liquid feces, due to its ability to retain water and normalize intestinal peristalsis.

Dosage:
The following amounts are administered 2 times a day:
Cat, dog or rabbit puppies: 1 ml;
Adult cats: 2 ml;
Adult dogs weighing < 10 kg: 2 ml; Adult dogs weighing 10 to 30 kg: 4 ml; Adult dogs weighing > 30 kg: 5 ml.
