INDICATIONS
After laborious calving, dystocia, sapremic states, septicemia, pyemia, pneumonia, bronchopneumonia, peritonitis, infectious and parasitic diseases, pre-collapse and collapse states.
In the case of animals exhausted by effort or in states of prolonged convalescence and asthenia.
Antidote in barbiturate or selenium poisoning.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
Do not treat animals with an allergy to the active substance.
Do not administer sodium benzoate caffeine to agitated animals, with tachycardia, convulsions and in strychnine poisoning.

ADVERSE EFFECTS
Rarely, agitation or skin rashes, hypertonia of striated muscles, increased diuresis

TARGET SPECIES
Horses, cattle, pigs, sheep, goats, canines, felines, nutria and pigeons.

DOSAGE FOR EACH SPECIES, HORSES AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
Caffeine sodium benzoate is injected subcutaneously or intramuscularly, in doses of:
– 8-20 ml/day (1-2.5 g caffeine) in adult horses and cattle, divided into several doses (one dose of maximum 5-10 ml);
– 1-5 ml/day (0.125-0.625 g caffeine) in sheep, goats, calves, foals and pigs, divided into several doses (one dose of maximum 1-3 ml);
– 1-2 ml/day (0.125-0.250 g caffeine) in canines and felines, divided into several doses (one dose of maximum 0.5-1 ml).
In collapse, intoxications and as a diuretic in adult horses and cattle, it is injected intravenously in a dose of 10-20 ml, after prior dilution in 20-25 ml of physiological serum or glucose serum.

RECOMMENDATIONS ON CORRECT ADMINISTRATION
The recommended doses will be followed.
In the case of i.v. administration of the product, the injection will be done very slowly.
