DECLARATION OF ACTIVE SUBSTANCE AND OTHER INGREDIENTS
Each ml of product contains:
Active substance: Enrofloxacin 50 mg
Excipients: n-butyl, potassium hydroxide, water for injections.
INDICATIONS:
Cattle: diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and respiratory system, caused by bacteria (enteritis and sepsis caused by E. Coli, pasteurellosis, salmonellosis, staphylococci, mycoplasmosis) and secondary infections in viral diseases.
Sheep and goats: diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and respiratory system and other infectious diseases caused by bacteria sensitive to enrofloxacin (pasteurellosis, colibacillosis, clostridiasis, acute mastitis and gangrenous, salmonellosis, microplasmosis).
Swine: diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and respiratory system caused by bacteria sensitive to enrofloxacin (pasteurellosis, enzootic pneumonia, bacterial bronchopneumonia, enteritis and sepsis caused by E. coli, salmonellosis, MMA syndrome, atrophic rhinitis).
Dogs: bacterial infections, including disseminated gastrointestinal, respiratory and genitorinary infections, infected wounds and external auditory canal infections.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Do not administer the product in case of known resistance to quinolones.
Do not administer the product in case of disturbances in cartilage development and/or during injury to the musculoskeletal system, especially at the level of joints normally stressed or at the level of joints stressed by body weight. Do not administer the product to dogs younger than one year of age or to breeding males younger than 18 months. Do not administer in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
TARGET SPECIES:
Cattle, pigs, sheep, goats and dogs.
METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION:
The product is administered to calves by way of s.c. or i.v., to pigs, lambs and dogs etc.
The current dose for calves and pigs is 1 ml of enroflox per 20 kg body weight (2.5 mg enrofloxacin/kg body weight).
The current dose for dogs is 1ml Enroflox per 10kg body weight.
In recurrent respiratory tract infections and salmonellosis the recommended dose is doubled: 5 mg enrofloxacin per 1kg body weight. The product is administered once every 24 hours.
The treatment of calves and pigs lasts 2–3 days, and in salmonellosis 5 days. Dogs are treated for 5–10 days.
Therapy in lambs and calves begins with the injectable form and continues with oral enrofloxacin.
If no clinical improvement is observed in the first 2–3 days, additional measures should be taken, such as repeating antibiograms or changing antimicrobial therapy.
RECOMMENDATIONS ON CORRECT ADMINISTRATION:
The dose applied in a single point will not exceed 10 ml in calves, 5 ml in sheep and goats and 2.5 ml in lambs and kids.
Enrofloxacin is administered at the usual sites of administration, e.g. in pigs in the muscles of the posterior area of the ear.
Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Normal precautions should be taken when carrying out treatment under sterile conditions.
To ensure a correct dose, body weight should be determined as accurately as possible to avoid overdose.

OTHER INFORMATION:
Enrofloxacin is active against the following microorganisms:
Mycoplasma spp, E. coli, Salmonella spp, Campylobacter spp, Haemophilus spp, Pasteurella spp, Bordetella spp, Erysipelotrix rhusiopatiae, Klebsiella spp, Proteus spp, Vibrio parahaemoliticus, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus spp (B,C,E) and against enterococci.
PHARMACEUTICAL PARTICULARITIES:
Enrofloxacin is rapidly absorbed from the injection site and distributes to tissues where it reaches a level several times the serum level, in about 1/2 to 1 hour after administration.

Polypropylene bottles, 100 ml with brombutyl rubber stopper and sealed with aluminum staple.
