COMPOSITION
Each 10 ml syringe contains:
Novobiocin sodium 100 mg,
Neomycin sulfate 150 mg,
Procaine benzylpenicillin 100,000 IU,
Dihydrostreptomycin sulfate 125 mg,
Prednisolone 10 mg,
Arachidis oleum 10 ml,
Silica colloidalis anhydrica 0.2 g.
TARGET SPECIES
Dairy cows during lactation.
INDICATIONS
Treatment of acute and chronic mastitis in cows during lactation, caused by pathogenic germs sensitive to novobiocin, penicillin, dihydrostreptomycin and neomycin.
DOSAGE BY SPECIES
Shake the contents of the syringe well, then introduce the preparation (10 ml of preparation) into the affected quarter. The preparation should be applied to the previously milked teat.
METHOD AND ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION
Intramammary.
If necessary, wash both the udder and the teats with warm water and wipe them dry. Disinfect the teat end with a suitable product, remove the plastic cap and insert the tip of the syringe into the teat. Press the plunger and insert the contents of the syringe into the udder. Massage the affected quarter for better penetration of the preparation into the galactophore sinus.
If necessary, the treatment can be repeated after 24 – 48 hours.
SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
Shake the syringe well before use!
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity to penicillin.
ADVERSE REACTIONS
Allergic reactions may sometimes be observed in allergic individuals, especially after repeated administration of the preparation (salivation, dyspnea, skin edema in the head and perineum).
WITHDRAWAL TIME
Meat – 7 days, milk – 72 hours (6 milkings).
SPECIAL STORAGE CONDITIONS
Keep out of reach of children.
Store at a temperature of 10°C – 25°C, protected from light and frost.
The product should not be used after the expiry date printed on the packaging.
