STATEMENT OF ACTIVE AND OTHER SUBSTANCES
Each ml of TILMICODEM 25 contains:

PHARMACEUTICAL FORM
Clear, yellowish oral solution to be administered in drinking water.
INDICATIONS
In chickens (broilers, breeding hens, replacement young) it is used for the treatment and control of infections caused by germs sensitive to tilmicosin: Mycoplasma spp., Pasteurella multocida, Haemophillus paragalinarum, Streptococcus spp., anaerobes (Clostridium spp.), etc.
In pigs
For the treatment of respiratory infections associated with Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae, Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida, Haemophilus parasuis, Bordetella bronchiseptica as well as other infections caused by bacteria sensitive to tilmicosin (Fusobacterium spp., Erysipelothrix rhusiopatiae, Listeria, Clostridium spp.).
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Do not administer to animals with known hypersensitivity to tilmicosin or other macrolides.
Do not allow horses or other equines access to drinking water containing tilmicosin (Tilmicodem 25).
ADVERSE REACTIONS
At the recommended doses there are no adverse reactions.

Pigs and chickens (broilers, breeding hens, replacement young).
DOSAGE, METHOD AND ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION
In chickens (broilers, breeding hens, replacement young): administer in drinking water at a dose of 0.08 ml Tilmicodem 25 / kg live weight / day (corresponding to 15 – 20 mg tilmicosin phosphate / kg live weight / day) for 3 – 5 consecutive days.
In pigs: administer in drinking water at a dose of 0.09 ml Tilmicodem 25 / kg live weight / day (corresponding to 15 – 20 mg tilmicosin phosphate / kg live weight / day) for 5 consecutive days.
RECOMMENDATIONS ON CORRECT ADMINISTRATION
The product must be diluted before being administered to animals.
Throughout the treatment, animals must drink only medicated water. Fresh medicated water is prepared every 24 hours.
To ensure proper dosing, the body weight of the animals must be calculated as accurately as possible to avoid underdosing the product.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
For meat and offal
Pigs: 7 days from last administration
Chickens: 13 days from last administration.
Not permitted for use in laying birds producing eggs for human consumption.
