What is Traumeel S ointment and what is it used for

Trauma S ointment contains a mixture of homeopathic active ingredients. Trauma S ointment is a traditional homeopathic medicine used to relieve inflammatory and painful symptoms from dislocations and other trauma to the musculoskeletal system. What you need to know before using Traumeel S ointment

Do not use Traumeel S ointment if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to any of the active ingredients, Echinacea or other plants in the Asteraceae family, or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Warnings and precautions: Trauma S is not known to influence other medications or other medications to influence Trauma S.

Trauma S ointment together with food, drink and alcohol: The action of a homeopathic medicine can be negatively influenced by some environmental factors, inadequate lifestyle, a rich diet or the consumption of ethanol, tobacco, stimulants.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding, and fertility: If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant, or plan to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for recommendations before taking this medication. There are no clinical studies for this medicine regarding the effects during pregnancy and breastfeeding. That is why it should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Driving and using machines: Trauma S ointment does not affect the ability to drive and use machines. Trauma S ointment contains ketostearyl alcohol. The cetostearyl alcohol in the composition of the medicine may cause local skin side effects (e.g. contact dermatitis).

How to use Traumeel S ointment

Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as told by your doctor or pharmacist. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.

Adults and children: Gently massage about 1.5 cm of the ointment onto the affected area 3 times a day or more often.

Duration of use: If the condition worsens or symptoms do not improve within 5 days, you should contact your doctor.

Possible side effects

Like all medications, Trauma S ointment can cause side effects, although they do not occur in all people.

Very rarely, affecting less than 1 patient in 10000: allergic reactions such as:
