Exoderil Set 50 mg/ml medicated nail polish (amorolfina) is used to treat fungal nail infections in adults. It should only be used if the upper half or sides of the nail are affected.
The active substance, amorolphin, prevents the development of fungi and destroys them. Exoderil Set 50 mg/ml medicated nail polish works against a wide range of fungal species sensitive to amorolfin, such as yeasts, skin fungi and moulds. However, bacteria are not sensitive to amorolphine.
Children and adolescents
Treatment of children and adolescents is not recommended due to lack of experience. Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as intended.

For topical use, in adults
Apply to affected nails. Apply Exoderil Set 50 mg/ml medicated nail polish once a week to affected fingernails or toenails.
Additional recommendations on treatment
Hand towels should be washed as often as possible at a minimum of 60°C. Keep your shoes airy and allow for easy drying.
Duration of treatment
Fungal infections are often very persistent. Therefore, use Exoderil Set 50 mg/ml medicated nail polish without a break, until the affected nails have grown back completely
Healthy. For this, a period of 6 months is required for fingernails and between 9 and 12 months for toenails. However, if you do not notice any improvement after 3 months, you should contact your doctor.
How to store Exoderil Set 50 mg/ml medical nail polish
Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children. Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton and bottle label after EXP. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
2.5 ml and 3 ml bottle: After the first opening – 6 months.
Keep the bottle tightly closed. Keep the medicated nail polish away from fire or flames (the alcohol in the composition is flammable). Throw away the medicine if it is damaged, for example if the varnish has hardened. Do not dispose of any medication via water or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medications you no longer use. These measures will help protect the environment. Any unused medication or waste material should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
