BULMECTIN 0.2% 10 GR
COMPOSITION
Avermectin – 0.2 g
Lactose – 50 – 80 g
Silicon oxide – 0.5 – 0.9 g
Mycelium mass – up to 100 g
ACTION
Avermectin has a simultaneous endo and ectoparasitic action, causes paralysis of nematodes, arthropods and insects, blocks the conduction of nerve impulses at the level of interneuronal synapses in nematodes and at the level of neuromuscular synapses in arthropods.
The effect is achieved by stimulating the release of gamma-aminobutyric acid (AGAB) in the presynaptic terminal and its binding to postsynaptic receptors, resulting in the cessation of transmission of the nerve impulse, with paralysis and death of the parasite.
Trematodes and cestodes are not affected, in these AGAB not intervening as an interneuronal mediator. It is well tolerated by mammals, in which AGAB is localized only in the CNS, where avermectin cannot penetrate. This product is harmless to pregnant females and newborns.

bunostmus, nematodirus, dictyocaulus), in the treatment of infestations with pasture ticks, lice, sarcoptic and psoroptic mange, hypodermosis.
For small ruminants: in the treatment of gastrointestinal infestations with long nematodes (haemonchus, ostertagia, trichostrongylus, cooperius, esophagostomus, nematodirus, strongylus, chabertia, trichuris), in the treatment of infestations with ticks, melophagus and oestrus.
For horses: in the treatment of strongyloidiasis, parascaridosis, trichostrongylosis, chabertiosis, microfilariasis.
For pigs: in the treatment of ascaridosis, strongyloidiasis, hyostrongylosis, metastrongylosis, esophagostomiasis, infestation with ticks, lice, sarcoptic mange.
