In cattle, horses, pigs and sheep in primary and secondary bacterial infections to viral ones of the respiratory, gastrointestinal, urogenital tract, joint and skin infections.
COMPOSITION:
1 ml contains: 200 mg sulfadoxine and 40 mg trimethoprim.

DOSAGE AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION:
The standard dose in all animals is:
3 ml/50 kg live weight (15 mg active substance/kg body weight).
Species and category of animals
Adults: cattle, horses: 20 – 30 ml
Heifers, foals: 5 – 15 ml Calves, sheep, goats: 3 – 5 ml
Cattle: i.v., i.m.,
Horses: i.v. slow or i.m. i.v. or i.m.
Sows with piglets: 8 – 12 ml
Fattening pigs: 5 – 8 ml
4-6 month old piglets: 2.5 – 3 ml
Weaned piglets: 1 – 2 ml Suckling piglets: 0.5 – 1 ml i.m. or s.c.
The dose may be repeated at 24 – 48 hour intervals depending on the clinical effect.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Do not administer to animals with severe renal or hepatic insufficiency and to those with hypersensitivity to sulfonamides or with problems of the hematopoietic system. Do not administer to horses sedated with alpha 2 agonists.
ADVERSE EFFECTS:
Transient local reactions. Sometimes in horses, after i.v. administration, cardiorespiratory shock may occur. Incompatibilities and interactions None known.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
Meat: 8 days
Milk: 2 days
