FLATULEX injectable solution, horses, cattle, sheep, goats and pigs.
Vitamin E acetate;
Sodium selenite.
STATEMENT OF ACTIVE SUBSTANCES AND OTHER INGREDIENTS
1 ml. solution contains:
Active substances:
Vitamin E acetate 17.00 mg.
Sodium selenite 1.67 mg.
Excipients: macrogol glycerol ricinoleate, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, water for injections.
INDICATIONS
For the prophylaxis (in herds where the diagnosis has been confirmed) and treatment of various syndromes in horses, cattle, calves, sheep, goats, lambs, kids, pigs, piglets, which are associated with vitamin E and selenium deficiency: enzootic myodystrophy of lambs, calves and pigs, dietary hepatonecrosis of pigs, dietary microangiopathy and congenital paraplegia of piglets.
ADVERSE REACTIONS
None if used as recommended. High doses of selenium cause toxicosis. Symptoms include nervous depression, ataxia, dyspnea with copious eliminations, colic and diarrhea. Treatment is symptomatic. Rarely, hypersensitivity reactions may occur in horses, cattle and calves.

TARGET SPECIES
Horses, cattle, calves, sheep, goats, lambs, kids, pigs and piglets.
DOSAGE FOR EACH SPECIES, ROUTE(S) OF ADMINISTRATION AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
Intramuscular administration, single dose (single dose).
Cattle, horses (adults): 10 ml.
Calves, sheep, goats (adults): 3-5 ml.
Pigs (adults): 5-10 ml.
Piglets, lambs, kids: 1-3 ml.
In severe cases, the treatment can be repeated after 6-7 days. Prophylactically, one dose is administered once every 3 months.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
Muscle at the injection site 7 days.
Liver: 7 days.
