ACTIVE SUBSTANCE:
Levamisole hydrochloride 200 mg
INDICATIONS
The product is indicated for the treatment of infestations with nematodes in various adult and larval stages of parasites with internal localization in the lungs and gastrointestinal tract.
In racing and ornamental pigeons for the treatment of infestations with Ascaridia columbae, Capillaria spp., Syngamus trachea.
In aquarium fish for the treatment of infestations with Capillaria spp., Camallanus spp. and Oxyuris spp.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to the active substance or to the excipient of the product.
Do not administer to animals intended for human consumption.
ADVERSE REACTIONS
Not at the recommended doses.

TARGET SPECIES
Homing and ornamental pigeons, aquarium fish.
DOSAGES FOR EACH SPECIES, ROUTE AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
The product is administered as follows:
For homing and ornamental pigeons:
– 20 mg a.s. levamisole/pigeon/day, respectively 1g LEVOROM 200 mg/g for 10 pigeons/day in 500 ml of drinking water, administered in a single dose.
The product should not be administered simultaneously with food because it may cause vomiting. During the treatment period when levamisole is administered in drinking water, the administration of the grains is suspended 12-24 hours before use and another 6 hours after use.
For aquarium fish:
– 10 mg a.s. levamisole / liter of water, respectively 1 g LEVOROM 200 mg/g/20 liters of water.
After 24 hours, change the water. Repeat the treatment every 14 days.

Special precautions for use in animals
Treatment should be started after microscopic examination for identification and confirmation of parasites.
Special precautions to be taken by the person administering the veterinary medicinal product to animals
People with known hypersensitivity to the components of the product should avoid contact with it.
In case of accidental ingestion or inhalation of the product, seek medical advice immediately and
show the package leaflet or the label.
In case of contact with skin or eyes, rinse with plenty of water.
Interactions with other medicinal products and other forms of interaction
None known.
Overdose (symptoms, emergency procedures, antidotes)
The recommended doses should be followed.
In case of acute poisoning, symptomatic therapy and general supportive measures should be initiated.
