ACTIVE SUBSTANCE
Erythromycin thiocyanate 10 mg.
Excipients
vitamino mineral substrate: vitamin A, vitamin D1, vitamin E, vitamin K3, vitamin B1, pantothenic acid D, biotin, vitamin C, magnesium sulfate, zinc sulfate, methionine, starch, aerosil, talc, polyvinyl pyrrolidone, (PVPK 30), avicel, carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC), lactose and magnesium stearate.
INDICATIONS
In birds (gallinaceous and palmiped): Erytrovit 10 is generally recommended for the prevention and control of infections caused by mycoplasmas. Excellent results are also obtained in the prevention and control of primary and secondary infections with germs sensitive to erythromycin (Pasteurella spp., Vibrio spp., Streptococcus spp., Staphylococcus spp., etc.).

TARGET SPECIES
Gallinaceae and palmipedes.
DOSAGES FOR EACH SPECIES, ROUTE AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
The product is administered individually to poultry (gallinaceae and palmipedes) from the first days of life, in the following doses:
preventive: 1 tablet/0.5 kg body weight for 3-5 consecutive days.
curative: 1 tablet/0.5 kg body weight for 5-7 consecutive days.
RECOMMENDATIONS ON CORRECT ADMINISTRATION
The weight of the birds will be estimated correctly to avoid under- and overdose.
WITHDRAWAL TIME
For animals intended for slaughter for meat, 28 days, and for the production of eggs for consumption, 7 days.
SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS FOR STORAGE
Keep out of the reach of children. Store below 25ºC in the original packaging.
Do not use after the expiry date stated on the label.
Shelf life of the product after first opening the immediate packaging: 6 months.
SPECIAL WARNINGS
The use of the product should be based on susceptibility testing of bacteria isolated from animals. If this is not possible, therapy should be based on epidemiological information regarding the susceptibility of the target bacteria. National and regional antimicrobial policies should be taken into account when using the product.
Use of the product deviating from the instructions in the SPC may increase the prevalence of bacteria resistant to the active substance and may decrease the effectiveness of the treatment, due to the possibility of cross-resistance.
