Baneocin skin powder is an antibacterial drug that is applied to the skin. It works by destroying certain bacteria that cause skin conditions.
Baneocin skin powder is used in:
– treatment of certain infections and ulcers on the skin
– treatment of eczema and superinfected burns
– treatment of infected dermatitis in children over 2 years of age
– prevention of infections after skin surgery.
How to use Baneocin skin powder
Always use Baneocin skin powder exactly as your doctor has told you. You should talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.
Adults and children over 2 years old
– Spread enough powder on the affected area 2 to 4 times a day
– The affected area can be covered with a dressing
– Avoid powder entering the eyes
If you have not noticed any signs of improvement within 5 days of treatment with Baneocin skin powder, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
If you use more than you should of Baneocin skin powder
Please contact your doctor or pharmacist if you have used more of Baneocin skin powder than you should and as a result you experience symptoms that may indicate kidney damage (loss of appetite, intense thirst, low urination, traces of blood in the urine) or hearing impairment .
If you forget to use Baneocin skin powder
If you forget to use the powder, use it as soon as you remember. Do not use more powder to make up for the forgotten dose.
If you stop using Baneocin skin powder Use Baneocin skin powder for as long as your doctor or pharmacist has recommended it. You need each dose to help fight the infection. If you discontinue use earlier than recommended, there is a risk that some of the bacteria will survive and cause the infection to return.
If you accidentally swallow the medicine
Tell your doctor immediately and he will recommend the necessary treatment.
If the medicine got into your eye by mistake
Rinse your eyes immediately with tap water. Contact your doctor if you continue to experience discomfort.

Possible side effects
