What Bronchipret TP is and what it is used for
Bronchipret TP is an herbal medicine used in case of productive cough to relieve the expectoration of viscous mucus.
If after 1 week you do not feel better or feel worse, you should contact a doctor.
How to take Bronchipret TP
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as told by your doctor or pharmacist. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
The recommended dose is:
Adults: 1 film-coated tablet 3 times a day (maximum 3 film-coated tablets a day).
Take Bronchipret TP tablets without chewing, before meals, with a sufficient amount of liquid (preferably with a glass of water).
If symptoms persist while using the medicine for more than 1 week, you should consult a doctor or other healthcare professional.
There are insufficient data on the recommended dose in patients with impaired kidney/liver function.
Use in children and adolescents
This medicine is not recommended for use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
If you take more Bronchipret TP than you should
No cases of overdose have been reported. In case of overdose, gastric upset, vomiting or diarrhea may occur. If the dose of Bronchipret TP taken was higher than recommended, please tell your doctor. Your doctor will decide on the necessary measures.
If you forget to take Bronchipret TP
Do not take a double dose to make up for the forgotten tablet, but continue to take the dose prescribed by your doctor or the dose specified in this leaflet.
If you stop taking Bronchipret TP
Stopping Bronchipret TP usually has no adverse effects.
If you have any further questions about this medicine, ask your doctor.
Possible side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although they do not occur in all people.
Uncommon side effects (may affect up to 1 in 100 people) Gastrointestinal disorders, such as cramps, nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea.
Very rare side effects (may affect up to 1 in 10000 people)
Hypersensitivity reactions, such as shortness of breath, rash, hives, swelling of the face, mouth and/or throat.
If the first signs of hypersensitivity reactions appear, Bronchipret TP should not be continued.
