Exoderil 10 mg/ml skin solution (naphthyphin hydrochloride) is a drug used against fungi, with use on the skin.
It is recommended in the treatment of the following infections:
– fungal infections of the skin or skin folds (tinea corporis, tinea inghinalis);
– fungal infections of the foot, especially at the interdigital level, at the level of the sole and at the level of the nails (onychomycosis);
– fungal infections of the hand, located at the interdigital level and at the level of the nails (onychomycosis);
– Candida skin infections;
– Pityriasis versicolor.
Exoderil has, in addition to the antifungal effect, an antibacterial activity on various gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms, which can frequently occur associated with fungal infections. Additionally, during clinical use, an anti-inflammatory effect occurs; This effect leads to the rapid improvement of inflammatory signs, in particular itching.

In order to cure the fungal infection (mycosis) as soon as possible, please consider the following aspects:
1. Microbes can adhere to the fabric by making contact with the infected skin area. That is why it is necessary to change clothes daily.
2. Normal and particularly dry skin provides good protection against fungal infections. It is recommended to avoid covering the infected skin area with tight clothing or clothing that allows limited ventilation or does not allow ventilation (e.g. stockings made of artificial textile fibers worn in tight shoes). Also, after washing you need to dry the infected area thoroughly. Any towel or clothing should be changed daily.
3. In the case of athlete’s foot, you should not go barefoot at home, in the bathroom or, for example, in the hotel.
This is the way you can prevent yourself from being reinfected and prevent the further spread of pathogenic microbes.
4. The sauna or steam baths should be frequented only after the fungal infection has been definitively cured.
