What Canephron is and what it is used for
Canephron Oral Drops Solution is an herbal medicine with traditional use.
It is used as supportive therapy to specific medication given in mild symptoms of inflammatory diseases of the lower urinary tract and to prevent kidney stone formation in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older.
This herbal medicine with traditional use is used for the specified indications, exclusively on the basis of long–term use.
How to use Canephron
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as told by your doctor or pharmacist. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.
Canephron oral drops solution is administered 3 times a day as shown in the table below. For the correct administration of the doses, the dosing measure with appropriate graduations, attached to the vial, is used.
– Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over: 5 ml 3 times a day (15 ml per day)
– Children: This medicine should not be given to children under 12 years of age.
Canephron oral drops solution is administered in the morning, at noon and in the evening. If necessary, it can be taken together with other liquids (for example, with a glass of water).
During treatment, it is necessary to consume a sufficiently large amount of fluids. Shake the bottle before use.
Duration of treatment
If symptoms worsen or do not improve after 7 days of treatment, contact your doctor. Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you think the effects of Canephron are too strong or too weak.
If you use more Canephron than you should: There are no data on Canephron overdose.
If you forget to use Canephron: do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.
If you stop using Canephron
As a rule, stopping treatment with Canephron can be done in complete safety.

Possible side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although they do not occur in all people.
Common side effects:
Gastrointestinal disorders (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea).
Side effects of unknown frequency:
Hypersensitivity reactions / allergic reactions.
If you notice any of these side effects, stop taking Canephron and talk to your doctor.
