What Fenistil gel is and what it is used for
Fenistil Gel contains an active substance that belongs to a group of medicines called antihistamines. Fenistil Gel is used to soothe itching associated with skin rashes, hives, insect bites, sunburn, and superficial burns.
Fenistil Gel stops itching by blocking the action of histamine, a substance released by the human body during an allergic reaction. Because the gel penetrates easily into the skin, itching and irritation are quickly soothed within minutes. Fenistil Gel also has a local anesthetic effect.
If after 7 days you do not feel better or feel worse, you should consult a doctor.
