Panangin, 158 mg/140 mg, 60 film-coated tablets, Gedeon Richter
Indications:
Panangin, a medicine intended as an additional treatment in certain chronic heart conditions (heart failure, after a myocardial infarction) and specific heart rhythm disorders. In addition, it is used to supplement the intake of magnesium and potassium.
Contraindications:
Do not take Panangin:
– if you are allergic to potassium aspartate or magnesium aspartate or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
Pregnancy, breastfeeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
There is no data available to suggest that this preparation would have a harmful effect in these situations.
Driving and using machines:
Panangin film-coated tablets have no influence on the ability to drive or use machines.
How to take:
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Unless your doctor has prescribed otherwise, the usual dose is 1 to 2 film-coated tablets three times a day.
The daily dose may be increased to 3 film-coated tablets three times a day. Gastric acidity may affect the effectiveness of the treatment, so it is recommended to take Panangin after a meal.

Composition:
– The active substances are: anhydrous potassium aspartate and anhydrous magnesium aspartate. Each film-coated tablet contains 158 mg of anhydrous potassium aspartate (as 166.3 mg of potassium aspartate hemihydrate) and 140 mg of anhydrous magnesium aspartate (as 175 mg of magnesium aspartate tetrahydrate).
– The other ingredients are:-core- Povidone K-30, colloidal anhydrous silica, talc, magnesium stearate, maize starch, potato starch; film: macrogol 6000, titanium dioxide, Eudragit E, talc.
