STATEMENT OF ACTIVE SUBSTANCES AND OTHER INGREDIENTS (INGREDIENTS)
Povidone iodinatum (10%) – 10g in 100 ml of vehicle. Vehicle: dexpanthenol, glycerol 85%, nonxynol 9, poloxamer, citric acid monohydrate, sodium hydrogen phosphate dodecahydrate, water for injections.

Cattle, pigs.
INDICATIONS
Contamination of the vagina with urine (urovaginitis), inflammation of the vagina and vaginal vestibule (vaginitis, vestibulitis), inflammation of the cervix (cervicitis), acute and chronic inflammation of the uterine mucosa (endometritis), caused by acute and subacute infections, trichomoniasis, vaginal lesions. Insufficient uterine contractility after calving (postpartum uterine atony), lochiometer, placental retention (retentio secundinarium) and pyometra.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to iodine, in case of hyperthyroidism and other thyroid dysfunctions, or during pregnancy.
ADVERSE REACTIONS
Allergic reactions (itching, irritation) may occur in sensitive animals, and only exceptionally may they affect the functions of the thyroid gland.
DOSAGE FOR EACH SPECIES, ROUTE(S) OF ADMINISTRATION AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
Cattle: endometritis, trichomoniasis – 1 package (150ml). Sterility treatment should be performed in metestrus or diestrus.
Local treatment of cervicitis, vaginitis, vestibulitis can be performed using a soaked swab or by irrigation (the swab must be removed after treatment).
Urovagin: Single aggregates are extracted by massage, and 1 vial/container of 150 ml is administered intrauterinely.
Uterine atony and pyometra: uterine lavage is performed; if the volume of the lavage solution is greater than the physiological volume of the uterus, it is necessary to remove it from the uterus.
Placental retention: after administration, uterine contraction occurs and bleeding stops, the placenta has a suitable consistency and can be easily treated. consecutive treatment can be performed with the same dose.
Pigs: Vaginal wash with 150 ml of product or more. Therapeutic wash should be performed within 12 hours of farrowing.
Sterility, as a consequence of subacute infections – administration of 300 ml of product. Consecutive treatment can be performed with the same dose.
RECOMMENDATIONS ON CORRECT ADMINISTRATION
To be administered intrauterinely with a catheter and a meterinjector. To be administered 50-150 ml of solution depending on the physiological capacity of the vagina.
