What Mastodynon is and what it is used for
Mastodynon is a homeopathic medicine. Mastodynon oral drops solution is indicated in women of childbearing potential as treatment in:
– menstrual cycle disorders;
– premenstrual syndrome with disorders such as breast pain, mental instability, swelling of the lower limbs, constipation, headache and migraines (very pronounced headache);
– benign painful breast disorders (mastopathy).
How to use Mastodynon
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as told by your doctor or pharmacist. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.
Adult women of childbearing potential: unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the recommended dose is 30 drops twice a day. The duration of treatment should be determined by a doctor. The drops are administered in the morning and evening, diluted with a little water or another liquid.
If symptoms return after stopping treatment with Mastodynon, talk to your doctor before resuming treatment.
To achieve an optimal therapeutic effect, it is recommended to continuously administer Mastodynon oral drops solution for 3 months. If symptoms persist after 3 months of treatment, medical consultation is necessary.
Use in children and adolescents: Use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age is not recommended.
If you use more Mastodynon than you should: no cases of overdose have been reported to date. If you have accidentally taken more Mastodynon than you should, contact your doctor or go to the emergency department of the nearest hospital.
If you forget to use Mastodynon: If you forget to take one dose, take another one as soon as you remember. However, if it’s time for your next dose, just take this one. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.
If you stop using Mastodynon: talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have stopped using Mastodynon.

Possible side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although they do not occur in all people.
The frequency of the following adverse reactions cannot be estimated from the available data: severe allergic reactions with swelling of the face, difficulty breathing and swallowing; (allergic) reactions on the skin (rashes, hives), acne; headache, dizziness; gastrointestinal disorders (such as nausea, abdominal pain); menstrual cycle disorders.
In case of the first signs of hypersensitivity reactions, allergic reactions or other side effects mentioned above, discontinue the administration of Mastodynon oral drops solution and contact your doctor.
The administration of homeopathic medicines can lead to a temporary worsening of pre-existing symptoms (initial worsening). In this case, interrupt the treatment and contact your doctor.
