STATEMENT OF ACTIVE SUBSTANCES AND OTHER INGREDIENTS

Active substance Florfenicol 0.010 g
Excipients Dextrose ad 1 g
INDICATIONS
Swine: in the treatment of pleuropneumonia, Glasser’s disease, atrophic rhinitis, salmonellosis, rubella; in the treatment of streptococci and staphylococci caused by germs susceptible to the action of florfenicol.
Birds (chickens): in the treatment of mycoplasmosis, diphtheria-variola, enteritis caused by germs susceptible to the action of florfenicol, acute typhoid, pullorosis, fowl cholera.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Do not administer to animals with hypersensitivity to the action of the active substance or to any of the excipients. Do not use in case of known resistance to florfenicol.
ADVERSE REACTIONS
The most frequently observed adverse reactions are diarrhea, perianal inflammation and rectal prolapse. These effects are transient and disappear after discontinuation of treatment.
TARGET SPECIES
Pigs, poultry (chickens).
DOSAGE FOR EACH SPECIES, ROUTE(S) AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
Administer orally, in feed.
Pigs: 2 mg florfenicol/kg body weight, respectively 100g Noredon F homogenized in 25 kg feed.
Poultry (chickens): 3-4 mg florfenicol/kg body weight, respectively 100g Noredon F homogenized in 15 kg feed.
Duration of treatment 5-7 days. It is recommended to administer vitamins and acetylsalicylic acid as adjuvant treatment.
To avoid underdosing and ensure a correct dosage, body weight must be determined as accurately as possible. The necessary doses must be determined by using calibrated weight measurement equipment.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
Pigs, chickens: meat and offal: 28 days
