PINOX 40 FOAMING SUPPOSITIONS (OXYTETRACYCLINE 1250 MG)
Intrauterine tablets for cows, mares, sheep, goats, sows.
Pinox, foaming suppositories, are recommended for intrauterine administration, in the treatment and prevention of acute puerperal endometritis, placental retention after fetotomies, cesarean sections and in the prevention of postpartum inflammatory processes (endometritis, pyometra) produced by germs sensitive to oxytetracycline in cows, mares, sheep, goats, sows.
COMPOSITION
One intrauterine tablet of 11.735 g contains:
Active substance: Oxytetracycline hydrochloride 1250 mg;
Excipients: Sodium bicarbonate;
Microcrystalline cellulose;
Citric acid;
Magnesium stearate;
Sodium lauryl sulfate.
Elongated tablets, with a smooth surface and rounded edges, light yellow in color with a slight mosaic.
INDICATIONS
The product is recommended for cows, mares, sheep, goats, sows, for intrauterine administration, in the treatment and prevention of acute puerperal endometritis, placental retention after fetotomies, cesarean sections and in the prevention of postpartum inflammatory processes (endometritis, pyometra) produced by germs sensitive to oxytetracycline.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Do not administer to animals with hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.

None known.
TARGET SPECIES
Cows, sheep, mares, goats, sows.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
The product is administered intrauterinely, under conditions of a dilated cervix.
The preventive and therapeutic doses are:
-Cows, mares: 1-2 tablets/animal every 24 hours, for 3-5 consecutive days,
-Sheep, goats, sows: 1 tablet/animal every 24 hours, for 3-5 consecutive days.
Prophylactic administration will be done immediately after calving, the dose can be repeated every 24 hours (if necessary).
RECOMMENDATIONS ON CORRECT ADMINISTRATION
Do not use the product if you notice visible signs of damage to the primary packaging.
WITHDRAWAL TIME
Cows, sheep, mares, goats, sows:
Meat and organs: 60 hours;
Milk: 72 hours (6 milkings).
Meat from animals that have been urgently slaughtered during treatment must not be used for human consumption. The sale of milk during treatment is not authorized.
