Acute sinupret is a herbal medicine that is used in adults to treat acute and uncomplicated inflammation of the paranasal sinuses.
The drug is produced by the German company Bionorica SE and is the concentrated form of the drug Sinupret, 50 dragons, a drug used for over 80 years in the treatment of acute and chronic inflammation of the paranasal sinuses.
Composition:
The active substance is native dry extract (3–6:1) from gentian root (Gentiana lutea L.), cuckoo mushroom flowers (Primula veris L.), watercress grass (Rumex crispus L.), elderflower (Sambucus nigra L.), verbena grass (Verbena officinalis L.) (1:3:3:3:3) 1. Extraction solvent: ethanol 51% (m/m). Each tablet contains 160.00 mg of native dry extract.
Method of administration:
Always take Sinupret acute drags exactly as stated in the leaflet.
Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the dose for:
-adults is 1 tablet 3 times a day (3 tablets/day)
Sinupret acute tablets should be swallowed with a sufficient amount of liquid (for example, a glass of water) 3 times a day (morning, noon and evening), without chewing the tablets. If you have a sensitive stomach, Sinupret acute tablets should preferably be taken after meals.
Unless otherwise recommended, the duration of treatment is: 7-14 days. If during this time you do not notice any improvement in symptoms, respectively if the manifestations persist after this time, please contact your doctor.
Precautions:
Do not use Sinupret Sharp Dredgers:
If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active substance or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine listed in the package leaflet or – if you have had or have a stomach ulcer or duodenal ulcer.
Ask your doctor if symptoms persist for more than 7-14 days, if they worsen or recur periodically and/or if fever, nosebleeds, severe pain, purulent nasal discharge, visual disturbance, or if your face becomes asymmetrical or if you feel numbness in your face.
Use of other medicines:
No systematic studies have been done on interaction with other medicinal products. For this reason, it cannot be excluded that concomitant administration with other medicinal products may cause greater or lesser effects of these medicinal products. Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding:
For safety reasons, the administration of Sinupret acute dragieri should be avoided during pregnancy. It is not known whether the active substances in Sinupret acute drageuri are excreted in milk in humans. Sinupret acute drags should not be used during breastfeeding. If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, if you think you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant, talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine.
Acute sinupret contains glucose and sucrose (sugar).
If your doctor has told you that you have an intolerance to certain categories of carbohydrates, please ask him before taking this medicine. Note for patients with diabetes: A tablet contains an average of 0.3 g of digestible carbohydrates.
