Sinupret oral drops solution is an herbal medicine that has been used for over 80 years in the treatment of acute and chronic inflammation of the paranasal sinuses. It is suitable for children from the age of 2, adolescents and adults.
Composition:
The active substances are:
One ml of oral drops solution contains:
283 mg extract (drug-extract ratio 1:11) from gentian root, cut; aerial parts of verbena, cut, aerial parts of watercress, cut; elderflowers, ground; cuckoo mushroom flowers with calyx, cut; (1:3:3:3:3); Extraction solvent: ethanol 59% (V/V).
One ml of oral drops solution contains 17 drops.
Method of administration:
Always take Sinupret oral drops solution exactly as shown in this leaflet. You should talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.
Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the usual dose for:
– Children aged 2-6 years: 15 drops (equivalent to 0.9 ml) 3 times a day
– Children aged 6-11 years: 25 drops (equivalent to 1.5 ml) 3 times a day
– adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: 50 drops (equivalent to 3.0 ml) 3 times a day
The drops are administered orally.
Precautions:
Do not use Sinupret Oral Drops solution if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to gentian root, aerial parts of verbena, aerial parts of macris, elderflower, cuckoo mushroom flowers or any of the other ingredients of Sinupret oral drops solution.

To date, there are no known interactions with other drugs.

Important information regarding some components of Sinupret oral drops solution:
This medicine contains 19% (v/v) ethyl alcohol, i.e. 0.45 g of ethyl alcohol per 50 drops
Sinupret, which is equivalent to 11 ml of beer or 4 ml of wine. It can be harmful to people with alcoholism. This should be considered in pregnant or breastfeeding women, children and high-risk groups such as patients with liver disease or epilepsy.
